11.7.16 Jesús del Valle (Tatica)

Jesús del Valle, popularly known as Tatica, is a prominent Cuban troubadour. He pursued his musical studies at the Ignacio Cervantes Conservatory. He was a disciple of great Cuban maestros such as Harold Gramatges and Jesús Ortega. His outstanding musical talent includes a voice characterized by a wide musical range and a beautiful timbre.
He is considered one of the founders of Nueva Trova. As a musician, he has been a member of prominent Cuban groups such as Mayohuacan and Jelengue.
Jesús del Valle has not only dedicated his artistic career to music, but has also worked as an actor. He began his career in the Teatro Estudio group and was also a member of the Conjunto Nacional de Espectáculos.
In his musical work, we can also refer to his performance as a soloist in the Symphony, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Amadeo Roldan Theater (Calzada y D, Vedado, Plaza de la Revolución, Havana), dedicated to the Cuban musician Manuel Duchesne Doménech.
Jesús del Valle, along with Carlos Ruiz, has been performing since 1979, performing songs, poems, and comedy recitals, performing with great success on stages in Cuba, Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
