Felipe Cabrera, prominent Cuban bassist. His debut album, Made in Animas, was conceived under the Unicornio label and released in 1999.

His guests included Tony Pérez and Roberto Carcassés (piano); Irving Cao, Román Filiú and Yosvany Terry (saxophone); Ruy López Nussa, Lukmil Pérez and Gilberto Moreaux (drums); Jorge Luis Valdés (Chicoy) (guitar); Julio Padrón (trumpet); Adel González and Eladio Terry (percussion); Luis Céspedes, Sergio Pereda and Armando Ihosvany (vocals).

The album features fourteen tracks, only two of which are not written by Felipe Cabrera: “Arrival a New York” by Yosvany Terry and Roberto Carcassés, and a cover of the standard “Autumn Leaves.”
