11/13/10 Raúl Lora

Raúl Lora Villar, a young Cuban singer and actor, was born in the province of Granma. He has achieved significant popularity in the country thanks to his performances in the soap operas “Doble Juego,” “Añorado encuentro,” and “Oh, La Habana.” In the latter, under the direction of Charlie Medina, he excelled in his portrayal of a young boxer. This role was so demanding that he had to leave his musical group during that time, as he had to lose weight and dedicate long hours to intense physical training. For this performance, he received a nomination for the awards presented by the television program “Entre tú y yo” and also won the affection and respect of the public.

Raúl Lora’s artistic interests have also led him to work as a television host, but acting and music are his greatest passions. He has also ventured into film and considers himself a very fortunate artist, as he gets to enjoy everything he does, both on and off the stage.

With his young group, Raúl Lora has successfully performed as a singer on various stages across the country, exploring genres such as reggaeton, merengue, house music, and cumbia, among others. With this musical offering, he has recorded his first album, self-authored and titled “Bonito Pegao.”
