Sory, a prominent Cuban performer, traveled to Japan in 2002, where she performed and was warmly received by the public.

Her debut album, Sory, was released in 2005 under the name Sory. This album was nominated for the 2005 Cubadisco Award. Dagoberto González was responsible for the production and musical direction. The quartet Sexto Sentido and other performers such as Robertón and Jeni, members of Los Van Van, and Tania Pantoja participated in the album.

In 2007, he worked in Japan for a second time, for several months, where he achieved great success. At that time, he performed with the group Traje Nuevo.
Her repertoire, as well as her debut album, includes songs such as En nosotros, by Tania Castellanos, and El tiempo, el implacable, by Pablo Milanés.
