Laritza Bacallao, a distinguished Cuban singer, began her career in the artistic world at the tender age of four. She holds an elementary degree in Choral Conducting and an intermediate degree in Accompanying Pianist from the Guillermo Tomás Conservatory (San Juan Bosco No. 57, Guanabacoa, Havana). Since then, she has performed a significant number of concerts, which have been highly acclaimed by the public.
Laritza Bacallao has been part of the Boleros de Oro Festival on more than one occasion. She has participated in countless events honoring the renowned Cuban singer Beny Moré. She has also appeared at various editions of the Habaneras Festival in Havana.
He has also taken his music to the rest of the world, through tours in countries such as Italy (2007), Germany (2006) and Venezuela (2000).
In his work as a vocalist, he has worked with different groups such as the Aragón Orchestra, Los Surik, Sabor Latino, Charanga de Oro, Conjunto Caney, Charanga del Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán and Villa Azul, among others.
She recently joined the prestigious PMM catalog and the Events company with a view to launching and developing her career in the United States as a platform for the world.
Laritza Bacallao has participated in various recordings. In 1997, she recorded “La Princesita del Chachachá” with the Aragón Orchestra on the Venezuelan label Artesáfono. Four years later, in 2001, “Si no sabes no te metas” (If You Don’t Know, Don’t Get Involved) by Bis Music and “Tribute to Elena Burke” and “Ahora” by Corporation, Japan, were released. In 2003, she recorded “Calle 66” in Milan, Italy.
