La Ceiba is the record label of the City Historian’s Office radio station, Habana Radio. Its primary objective is to preserve for the nation significant radio productions, voice archives, selections from Cuba’s musical heritage, and audiovisual productions.

It is made up of five collections divided into Voices; Music; Children’s; Audiovisuals; and The Historian, which compiles the main public appearances, radio and television programs, featuring Eusebio Leal, the city’s historian.

La Ceiba has produced two phonograms to its credit; both of which won awards at the 2011 Cubadisco Festival. The first, titled Canciones amatorias (Love Songs), features the Exaudi choir alongside María Felicia Pérez. Siempre en mi corazón (Always in My Heart), performed by Miriam Ramos and Ernán López-Nussa, is a tribute to Ernesto Lecuona.

The City Historian’s Office radio station’s record label also includes a DVD of the series titled “Andar La Habana” (Andar La Habana), part of its Audiovisual line, and the audiobook “Treasures of the Golden Age.”
