Programming of the 19th International Humor Biennial of San Antonio de los Baños

From Sunday, April 5th, to the 8th, the activities of this graphic humor festival will extend. Creators from 23 countries will participate, presenting visual proposals based on the theme of defending peace in the current global situation. The event is sponsored by the Circle of Humorists and Cartoonists of the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC) and the San Antonio de los Baños Humor Museum. The selected works are on display at the 19th International Graphic Humor Exhibition and the Eduardo Abela Provincial Center for Visual Arts. Collateral spaces for discussion and recreation have also been planned: lectures, music concerts, popular parades, and a film series in rural communities. Note: As part of the activities linked to the event, the usual “Smile Wednesdays” meeting will take place on April 8th at 4:00 pm at the Dulce María Loynaz Cultural Center (Havana), this time with researcher Adelaida de Juan and the topic, “Caricature of the Republic.”
